Popovy doll platform shoes with ballet feet are elegant high-heel shoes for BJD dolls in 1:4 scale. I designed this model for Popovy Sisters dolls, MarmiteSue dolls, Vasilek dolls, and other compatible Art BJD dolls with ballet feet. Overall, these shoes add a clean and modern accent to a collector’s doll wardrobe.
Materials and construction
I make these miniature shoes from genuine smooth black leather. The leather feels soft and pleasant to the touch. In addition, I add a beige sole to create gentle contrast. I finish the shoes with a white silk bow and a hand made embroidery, which gives the design a light and elegant detail. I make the platform heel from durable PLA, so it keeps a stable shape and looks neat.
Design and fit
