Popovy dolls cotton skirt is a romantic clothing piece designed for dolls in 1:4 scale, with a height of approximately 30–40 cm (12–15.7 inches). I created this skirt to fit many popular dolls, including Chimera dolls, Pasha Dolls, Pushkina dolls, Vasilek dolls, Integrity Toys, Monster High, Larisiny Kukly, and other dolls of similar size. Overall, this skirt works beautifully as a versatile wardrobe piece for collectors.
Fabric and materials
I make this long skirt from blue cotton fabric. The material feels soft, lightweight, and pleasant to the touch. In addition, I decorate the skirt with delicate embroidery along the hem. I also add machine embroidery on the waistband, which gives the skirt a finished and detailed look.
Design and fit
The skirt has a full and flowing shape that creates a gentle and romantic silhouette. I use two functional buttons at the waist, which makes dressing easy and secure. Because of its thoughtful cut, the skirt fits many dolls in one collection. As a result, you can style it on different characters without changing the overall mood.
Style inspiration
I mainly created this skirt for Provençal-inspired looks and for festive scenes such as Christmas and New Year. For example, it works beautifully for fairy-tale images like Mary from The Nutcracker or Ida in her magical garden. At the same time, this style leaves room for imagination. You can easily create the image of a young lady in a soft and romantic style.
Styling possibilities
In my shop, you can find not only individual items but also complete sets of clothing, shoes, and accessories. All pieces match each other in style and color. For example, a cotton underskirt adds volume and elegance, while gray leather shoes complete the outfit and balance the look.
