Popovy doll’s cotton blouse with lace is a clothing piece for Art BJD dolls in 1:4 scale. I designed this blouse for collectors who value clean lines, fine details, and a timeless look. Overall, this blouse works well for posing, display, and doll photography.
Fabric and materials
I make this blouse from high-quality white cotton and soft white lace with a floral pattern. The fabric feels light and pleasant to the touch. Because of this, the blouse sits naturally on the doll and looks gentle in photos. In addition, the material allows easy and careful posing.
Sewing and decoration
I create this blouse using both machine sewing and handwork. I sew the main construction and lace parts on a sewing machine to achieve clean lines. At the same time, I add decorative details and finishing touches by hand. I also use machine embroidery to give the blouse extra texture and visual interest.
Sleeves and closure
I decorate the sleeves with pearl-like beads and white silk ribbons. You can easily adjust the sleeve width with these ribbons. The sleeves gather slightly but stay slim, not puffy. As a result, you can dress the doll in a coat or cape without difficulty. On the back, the blouse closes with four small metal buttons, which makes dressing simple and secure.
Shape and styling options
