Popovy dolls chocolate velvet long skirt is an elegant clothing piece designed for dolls in 1:4 scale, with a height of approximately 30–40 cm (12–15.7 inches). I created this skirt to fit many popular dolls, including Chimera dolls, Pasha Dolls, Pushkina dolls, Vasilek dolls, Integrity Toys, Monster High, Larisiny Kukly, and other dolls of similar size. Overall, this skirt works as a versatile addition to a collector’s doll wardrobe.
Fabric and materials
I make this long skirt from soft chocolate-colored velvet. The fabric feels rich, smooth, and pleasant to the touch. In addition, I use a pink silk ribbon at the waist for tying, which allows easy adjustment and adds a delicate accent. This combination of materials gives the skirt a warm and elegant character.
Design and fit
The skirt has a full and flowing silhouette. I decorate the bottom with a gentle frill, while machine embroidery on the waistband adds refined detail. Because of its thoughtful cut and adjustable waist, the skirt fits many dolls in one collection. As a result, you can style it on different characters with ease.
Style inspiration
I mainly created this skirt for princess-style looks and for festive scenes such as Christmas and New Year. At the same time, the deep chocolate color invites creative styling. For example, you can create the image of a witch, a refined socialite, or a young lady in a Steampunk-inspired outfit.
